What the summary includes

3-bullet TL;DR

The 3 things anyone who missed the meeting needs to know. Outcome-focused, not a transcript of what was said.

Decisions list

Concrete resolutions only — what was agreed, approved, or rejected. No brainstorming, no 'we should think about it'.

📋

Action items table

Every task with owner and due date where stated. One clear table you can paste directly into Notion, Linear, or Asana.

Key topics

The main themes discussed — so team members can quickly decide if a meeting is relevant to them before reading the full summary.

Frequently asked questions

What meeting formats does it handle?+

Any text format: Zoom/Teams/Google Meet auto-transcripts with speaker labels, rough typed notes, copy-pasted chat logs, even a stream-of-consciousness brain dump. The model reads for meaning, not format.

How accurate are the action items?+

The model only extracts explicit, assignable actions — tasks where someone said 'I will' or was directly assigned something. It does not invent action items from vague discussion. If action items are missing, check whether the transcript contains explicit assignments.

What if the transcript has no speaker names?+

Action item owners will show as 'TBD' for any unattributed tasks. The TL;DR, decisions, and key topics still work the same regardless of whether speakers are identified.

How long a transcript can I paste?+

Up to 50,000 characters, which covers roughly a 2-hour meeting transcript. The N8N agent processes up to 15,000 characters internally (covers most 30–60 min calls). For longer transcripts, paste the most important portion.

Can I get this automatically after every meeting?+

Yes — that's the logical next step. A Squidgy meeting-summary agent can pull transcripts from Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet and send the summary to Slack or email within minutes of the call ending. Use the Agent Builder to set it up in a day.

Is my transcript stored?+

No. Transcripts are processed and discarded. Nothing is saved unless you click 'Email me this summary', in which case the formatted summary (not the raw transcript) is sent to the address you provide.
