What is biz-in-a-box?+
A complete operating unit for a business: the agent team that runs it, the legal entity (LLC / Ltd) wrapped around it, and the back-office scaffolding (billing, support, marketplace listing, analytics). You pick a templated business model, we deploy the box, and you operate it. Most customers are running their first box within a week.
How is this different from just buying agents off the marketplace?+
Marketplace agents are individual specialists you bolt onto an existing business. A biz-in-a-box is the whole business — multiple coordinated agents, the legal entity, the billing rails, the operating playbook — shipped as one unit. You're not buying tools; you're deploying a company.
What's actually in the box?+
An orchestrator agent (we call ours Pia) plus 3-5 specialist agents pre-shaped for the business model, a legal entity in the jurisdiction of your choice (UK by default), Stripe billing rails, customer support tooling, a marketplace listing for the resulting product, an analytics dashboard, and a 30/60/90-day operating playbook. We wire it; you run it.
Where do I incorporate the business?+
UK is the default at launch — and the only one we incorporate end-to-end today. £50 to Companies House plus the £65/yr registered office address we provide via Hoxton Mix. 24-hour turnaround, works for non-UK residents. (Heads-up if you're non-UK: high-street banks won't open accounts for you — Tide / Wise / Revolut Business will.) US (Delaware C-Corp / Wyoming LLC) and EU (Estonia e-Residency) available on request via partner registrars. Singapore, Hong Kong, and others on request.
How much human work is involved?+
Less than running a real team, more than zero. The agents do the operational work — drafting, qualifying, scheduling, billing, support. You make strategic calls (which clients to take, what to publish, when to expand) and approve high-stakes outputs. Plan on 5-15 hours a week for a single box, depending on the model.
Can I export and leave?+
Yes. Your agent skill files (config, system prompts, knowledge base, workflow) are exportable. Your legal entity is yours from day one — you own the company, we just helped form it. Customer data is yours. There's no platform lock-in beyond the convenience of having everything wired in one place.
What if my business outgrows the templated box?+
Two paths. (1) Move to Pro tier and customise the team — add specialist agents from the marketplace, swap models, change the playbook. (2) Graduate to Squidgy Ventures — a fully bespoke vertical white-label brand with co-founder economics. Most successful boxes evolve along this path.
Is this just an agent with an LLC?+
No. An agent-with-an-LLC is one agent and some paperwork. A biz-in-a-box is a coordinated team of agents (usually 4-5), the operational scaffolding to run a real business (billing, support, distribution), and a legal entity to receive payments and limit liability. The team is the moat — single agents can't run a business; a coordinated crew can.
